Schoolgirls 04:10
Low on the horizon when the sun is barely risin' Drinking Hefeweizen puts some hair upon the dog It ain't so surprisin' that the cattle and the bison Are all grazin', some are hidin' in the fog Now, when my woman's gone away When the kids are out to play I pop on my DVD and there I see on my TV: Schoolgirls! Schoolgirls! Itty-bitty fool girls Good girls, bad girls Any kind you like Schoolgirls! Schoolgirls! Sexy-in-the-pool girls Naked, dripping water from their pigtails It does excite me I go to the city on the weekend, it's so pretty All the buildings are so wonderfully high When I'm at the market, it seems I am on target Bringing groceries home to Margaret And those lovely kids of mine But when all eyes are not on me I head for the magazines Pull back the velvet curtains and There they are in front of me: Schoolgirls! Schoolgirls! Itty-bitty fool girls Good girls, bad girls Any kind you like Schoolgirls! Schoolgirls! Sexy-in-the-pool girls Naked, dripping water from their pigtails It does excite me

Talk of money, you can talk of love Neither rain down from the Heavens above Got my problems, baby you got yours Got a fever or is it something more? It's Don's life and he can do as he pleases Let Don die very slowly from his many diseases Cancer, Lou Gehrig's, Alzheimer's and AIDS What we wouldn't give to wish them all away Always complaining about how living hurts He may well be sickly but he's also a jerk It's Don's life and he can do as he pleases Let Don die very slowly from his many diseases Would he really go and wish it all away? All the fun he's had should make things OK! Blood transfusions and surgeries... Place your bets that he'll live longer than me!

Little Billy wonders, wonders, wonders Little Billy wonders, wonders why? Why did you leave him all alone? Would it kill you maybe once To someday call him on the phone? What could he have done To make you storm out angrily, Abandoning your son? And why, why does it hurt? He'd rather that you used a belt Instead of hurtful words And now he and his Mom Know that you have gone away But they wonder for how long Little Billy wonders, wonders, wonders Little Billy wonders, wonders why? Little Billy wonders, wonders, wonders Little Billy wonders, wonders why? Now here stands a boy! He grew up much too fast He never had that many toys His Mom is poor as hell They ate Thanksgiving dinner At the local Taco Bell And as the years pass by Billy sits under a bridge And he can't help but cry His beard is long and white Holding out a can of coins As other folk pass by, singing: Little Billy wonders, wonders, wonders Little Billy wonders, wonders why? Little Billy wonders, wonders, wonders Little Billy wonders, wonders why?

Our sails were all but packed away The night we reached the pirate's cave And my best mate on the brigade Was elsewhere, sleeping with the maids And so, with sword and shield in hand I dared to venture to the land The legends they have all been heard For many men enter, but few return! Forever searching for buried gold I fought the dragon but lost my soul My aim was deadly, with speed and skill The Epic Saga of Sunset Hill! I hitched my pantaloons up tight And sauntered back towards the night None of my crew knew I prevailed I woke them up to tell my tale! One of the swabbies who frightens most Pointed in fear at the dragon's ghost! Everyone trembled but I just laughed Laughed at the ghost before I kicked it's ass!!! Forever searching for buried gold I fought the spirit but lost my soul My aim was deadly, with speed and skill The Epic Saga of Sunset Hill! Sunset Hill!!!

The rooster comes a'calling With the rising of the sun Wake up early morning There are chores that need be done People I know say That I was lucky to be young On their knees, telling me It ain't easy growing up, no... It ain't easy growing up... Now 30 years have come and gone And much has changed since then My body somewhat worn away I've lost so many friends I know a place where I can go Where time can do no harm Just take my hand and we can Head on back to that old farm... Back on that old farm Back on that old farm Now run your hand across the many Cracks upon the wall There's a funny story there But of what I can't recall Since we'd left, our precious home Had once or twice been sold My parents passed away And all my friends became so old They became so old... And I remember memories I thought had been forgot Fairy tales and fantasies And baseball cards I bought Buried like a treasure 'neath The floorboards of this barn My tears are welcome friends When I am back on that old farm Back on that old farm Back on that old farm Back on that old farm Back on that old farm

about

This EP was recorded back in 2006, and was (mostly) lost until I recently rediscovered it on a CD-R at the bottom of a box of old VHS tapes. I present it to you now as A) an aural time capsule of sorts, and B) a surprisingly solid little album. WARNING: May include several face melting guitar solos!
